DLI Offers Marketing Plan Tips and More in January

Marketing expertise, peer networking sessions kick off 2025

LAUREL, Md. — To get a jump on the new year, the Drycleaning & Laundry Institute (DLI) is offering several options for dry cleaners wanting to improve their marketing game, along with other offerings in January.

Making a Plan

On Jan. 15, DLI will present the webinar, “Create Your 2025 Marketing Plan.” Dave Coyle of Maverick Drycleaners will host the 1 p.m. Eastern presentation, focusing on positioning your business as an employer and service provider of choice.

DLI states that over the past six years, it has produced more than 160 webinar presentations now archived in its Online Webinar Library. Program topics include marketing, management, diversification and other aspects of running a successful drycleaning business. Full access to the recordings and live presentations is available for all DLI members.

Other Online Resources

Also on Jan. 15, at 3 p.m. Eastern, DLI will host a marketing lab to bring dry cleaners together via Zoom to discuss marketing trends and share successful practices. Recent meetings have covered the value of trigger-based marketing, what some members are doing to keep customers happy, promoting additional services, and developing effective online advertising.

Every Tuesday in January, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Eastern, DLI hosts a weekly “coffee-and-shoptalk” meeting via Zoom so participants can discuss what’s happening in their businesses and share new ideas, thoughts and tips.
