LAUREL, Md. — In an effort to allow its members to better prepare for an always-uncertain future, the Drycleaning & Laundry Institute (DLI) will be presenting a webinar with economist Chris Kuehl, who will try to shed some light on what might be coming down the road.
“Since no one can see the future, DLI says in its announcement, “this sort of presentation usually requires a few grains of salt (and a couple of cups of coffee). The Drycleaning & Laundry Institute aims to turn this stereotype on its head with its February online presentation hosted by economist Chris Kuehl.”
The webinar will be presented on Wednesday, Feb. 7, at 1 p.m. EST, and will be conducted via Zoom.
“Though every crystal ball is foggy,” DLI says in its announcement, “some presenters are better informed than others and able to use data to make better-educated guesses about things to come. Kuehl is known for his entertaining and informative look at possible futures. This presentation is intended to help attendees strategically prepare for the possible future they wish to create.”
Additional Programs
In addition to the economic forecast, DLI will also host its monthly Orientation program on Feb. 7 at 3 p.m. EST.
Not just for new members, DLI says that the interactive presentation will provide a comprehensive overview of the benefits afforded to all members of the association.
Also, on Wednesday, Feb. 21, DLI’s Marketing Lab will bring cleaners together to discuss current marketing trends and effective solutions. Recent meetings have covered the value of trigger-based marketing and what some members are doing to keep customers happy and using additional services.
