NAPLES, Fla. — Martinizing® Cleaners recently expanded its footprint in Denver’s suburbs with the opening of a newly renovated location in Aurora, Colorado.
The business is owned by Brad Ambridge, a drycleaning veteran with more than 20 years in the Martinizing network, as well as a background in finance and operations. The Aurora location marks Ambridge’s third store and is a full plant, building on its existing footprint of one plant and one satellite location.
“Our goal with this expansion wasn’t simply to add another location, but to grow more intelligently,” Ambridge says. “Aurora and Parker are seeing steady residential growth along with a return to office work, and we wanted to be ahead of that curve by offering convenient, modern dry-cleaning services that fit today’s lifestyles.”
The new storefront was acquired through the brand’s “Clean Exit” program. Clean Brands, which owns Martinizing Cleaners, created the “Clean Exit” program to provide existing, unaffiliated dry cleaning and laundromat owners with an exit strategy. After acquiring existing companies, Clean Brands makes upgrades, including Martinizing Cleaners branding, delivery vehicles, signage and updating systems and technology, along with improving lighting, flooring and other cosmetic enhancements.
“Brad is exactly the kind of operator the Clean Exit program was built for,” says Joseph Hebeka, vice president of franchise re-development for Clean Brands. “He’s a seasoned dry cleaner who already had a strong team and proven systems in place, which made this transition incredibly smooth. Because of that foundation, Brad was able to seamlessly transition into this new phase of his business.”
Martinizing Cleaners of Aurora has been designed as a modern storefront with an integrated back-office plant, the company says. This structure allows the team to support increasing route-based demand while maintaining high-quality, in-store garment care. Pickup and delivery services remain a primary focus and already account for the majority of the company’s overall sales.
