PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. — America's Best Cleaners (ABC) will once again co-host the CINET Global Best Practices Awards (GBPA), set for Oct. 22-23, 2026, in Milan, immediately before ExpoDetergo International.
The GBPA is the textile care industry's top global competition, ABC says in its announcement, bringing together dry cleaners, launderers, textile service providers and innovators to share best practices and recognize top performers. Beyond the awards, attendees will get presentations on industry trends and innovations, plus the official unveiling of the CINET Roadmap 2050 Industry Outlook Report, a study aimed at shaping the future of textile care and professional cleaning.
ABC is contributing to the Roadmap 2050 initiative, says ABC Executive Director Christopher White, helping ensure North American garment care professionals have a voice in the discussion.
ABC is encouraging affiliates to apply for the competition. Companies don't need to travel to Milan to compete, ABC says. Applications can be submitted and judged remotely, though White recommends attending in person to get the full educational and networking value of the event and the ExpoDetergo exhibition.
Previous ABC affiliates who have competed in the GBPA include Ablitt's Fine Cleaners, Greene's Cleaners, Country Club Cleaners, Jan's Professional Cleaners, Platinum Cleaners and Hallak Couture Cleaners. Country Club Cleaners won the 2020 Global Sustainability Award, and Jan's Professional Cleaners won both Best U.S. Dry Cleaner and a Global Best Practices Award in 2022. Platinum Cleaners and Hallak Couture Cleaners were both finalists in 2024.
"These organizations have demonstrated that businesses of all sizes can successfully compete, learn and gain international recognition through the GBPA process," White says.
Award categories, application details and registration information are available at the CINET Global Best Practices Awards website.
