CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Martinizing Cleaners franchise will now be offering 24-hour accessibility to garment care services via service lockers in Charlotte, North Carolina, at one of the city’s highest traffic areas.
Martinizing Cleaners of Charlotte is placing this service in one of the busiest areas of downtown Charlotte: the Wells Fargo One Building of the Overstreet Mall, across the street from the Charlotte Convention Center and a block away from the Spectrum Center, home of the Charlotte Hornets.
“We took over this location from another dry cleaner, who had it staffed, and it was open typical business hours. So, people who frequent the Overstreet Mall are used to a cleaners being on site,” says Kyle Panther, owner of Martinizing Cleaners of Charlotte. “What they will love is being able to drop off and pick up their cleaning 24/7 and the convenience of making those arrangements through the Martinizing app.”
The Martinizing app allows customers to initiate an order and create their own four-digit code for security. They then drop off their clothes to be cleaned and receive a notification when the clothes are available for pickup. The standard turnaround time is two business days.
“We do offer next day service and that can be specified when customers place the order,” says Panther. “This will be particularly beneficial for visitors here for a convention or staying at the Hilton, which is right across the Overstreet Mall.”
This isn’t the first placement of lockers in Panther’s stores.
“We’ve installed lockers in other parts of the city, some at residential developments, others in retail areas,” Panther says. “The Overstreet Mall location is by far the busiest area where we’ve put lockers. Thankfully, it’s a larger space and if the demand is what we expect it to be, we can easily install additional lockers.”
