MILAN — EXPOdetergo International 2026 has announced its guiding themes as companies in the textile care industry confirm their participation in the planned October 2026 event at Fiera Milano, near Milan.
The trade show will center on sustainability, technology, artificial intelligence (AI) and digitalization — elements the organizers describe as essential drivers for addressing current market challenges rather than mere trends.
At the core of the 2026 event will be an exploration of making sustainable productivity a competitive advantage. The show will demonstrate how efficient technologies, low-impact detergents and worker-friendly processes integrate with AI and digitalization to ensure quality, safety and control throughout the supply chain, organizers say. Smart and automated solutions are expected to showcase optimized performance alongside leaner, more responsible organizational models.
The event will also emphasize work efficiency and inclusivity through ergonomic workstations, intuitive interfaces and new organizational approaches designed to improve work quality.
With hygiene and sanitization requirements critical in the healthcare, hospitality and food service sectors, EXPOdetergo International will also highlight how technology, AI and sustainability combine to deliver reliable, certified and cutting-edge solutions.
The exhibition floor will feature the latest market offerings, organizers say, including drycleaning and wetcleaning machines; ironing solutions; professional detergents; management and 4.0 systems; automated lines; and premium textiles such as bedding and table linens for hotels, spas and restaurants. Only new machines will be presented at the show, with many operating live to provide attendees with a hands-on experience.
