TULSA, Okla. — Fox Cleaners recently announced its partnership with Dress for Success Tulsa through the launch of EmpowerWear, a community-driven initiative designed to empower women, strengthen local communities and promote environmental sustainability. In collaboration with America’s Best Cleaners (ABC), the campaign will focus on collecting gently used women’s professional and casual attire.
“As a woman-owned business, we are deeply aligned with Dress for Success Tulsa's mission to empower women to achieve economic independence,” says Maggie Fox, president & CEO of Fox Cleaners. “This partnership resonates with our core values of supporting women and fostering environmental sustainability. Personally, as the daughter of a single mother who worked tirelessly to support four children, I understand the importance of programs like Dress for Success and how meaningful they can be to families in need.”
EmpowerWear started on October 1 and will run through October 31. The program includes a collection campaign, supported by social media engagement, to gather professional and casual attire for women in need. Donations will assist women in gaining access to employment opportunities and help them achieve economic independence.
“We are proud to partner with Fox Cleaners and ABC for the EmpowerWear initiative,” says Katherine Skorvaga, executive director of Dress for Success Tulsa. “This collaboration ensures that women have the clothing and employment readiness support they need to take the next step in their career journey.”
Fox Cleaners says customers can contribute to the EmpowerWear program by using a special garment bag for donations. Customers who text the day before their scheduled delivery will receive an EmpowerWear garment bag along with their dry cleaning order, and the donations will be collected on the next pickup day. Contributions are tax-deductible and can also be dropped off at Fox Cleaners’ during business hours or at the 24/7 kiosk.
