BROOKLYN, N.Y. — WashClub, the locally based on-demand laundry and drycleaning service, reports it is partnering with DoorDash to provide New York City customers with convenient, high-quality laundry support, delivered quickly.
The offering is available in Queens and Brooklyn, and there are plans to expand to other areas of NYC through the remainder of the year.
By working with DoorDash, WashClub says it’s able to scale its business in NYC and across the nation while offering customers greater flexibility and convenience.
Having DoorDash handle pickup and delivery allows WashClub to concentrate on growing its operations and focus on all other “moving parts” that go into running a national laundry business.
Turnaround time is typically 24 hours, but customers have the option of same-day return for an additional cost if the order is submitted early enough in the day.
“We’re anticipating incredible feedback in response to this partnership as it allows us to simplify the busy lives of New Yorkers by easily taking the mundane task of laundry off their plate, but also drives more transactions to the local small businesses that we partner with,” says Rick Rome, founder and CEO of WashClub. “Working with a trusted partner like DoorDash and leveraging its pool of 1.8 million dashers and workers helps us strengthen our relationship with our loyal customers, giving them on-demand delivery they deserve.”
WashClub and DoorDash are slated to launch in the Bronx this summer and Manhattan by the end of the year.
