ANAHEIM, Calif. — The California Cleaners Association (CCA) reports: “Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the regulatory restrictions regarding social distancing and large gatherings, CCA has been forced to postpone its Fabricare 2020 Convention & Exhibit originally scheduled in Long Beach this August.”
The CCA Board has already secured the dates of August 20-21, 2022, for the next show, it notes.
CCA relates that it is, “Very disappointed by not having its Exhibit and Convention this year, but strongly feels it is in the best interest of all parties to postpone the event.”
It adds that, “We need to look ahead, and see where we can best put our efforts that will matter most to our members and the industry. As soon as the new dates and details are confirmed, an update will be released.”
From its website, the CCA describes itself as: “The statewide, professional trade association for California’s best dry cleaners and the companies who serve them. Affiliated with the Drycleaning & Laundry Institute (DLI), we are proud to be part of an international network of cleaners.”
