DENVER, N.C. — Leonard Automatics welcomes Lon Walters as its new controller. Walters has over three decades of experience working in manufacturing companies ranging from $2 million to $120 million in sales, the firm reports.
He brings plant controllership, accounting and product-costing experience, and he will help this manufacturer of finishing products keep a solid financial position, the firm notes.
“Lon brings years of both financial and manufacturing experience to the organization which will be beneficial during the company’s growth phase,” says Greg Watson, company CFO.
He joins the company as a result of the retirement of Patti Grove, who has been controller for 16 years, the firm relates.
Walters began his career with the international “Big Four” CPA firm, Ernst & Young, doing audit, tax and consulting work.
