LAS VEGAS — In just five months of exhibit space sales, Clean 2017 booth square footage has already surpassed the total of the last Clean Show in 2015, reports Riddle & Associates, the show’s longtime management firm.
As of Oct. 6, exhibit space sold in the Las Vegas Convention Center reached 200,606 square feet.
“Clean Show 2017 is on a roll,” says John Riddle, president of Riddle & Associates, “one that started in April 2015 in Atlanta. This Clean Show exhibit space sales has already exceeded the total number of square feet sold in 2015.
“The exciting thing about this is, 22 new companies have signed up so far to exhibit at Clean 2017 and we still have eight months left before the industry meets here on June 5-8, 2017.”
At last check, exhibiting companies totaled 307. Companies interested in exhibiting are encouraged to book space as early as possible, Riddle advises.
“We still have lots of good booth locations and are confident that the exhibit hall will fill up to capacity,” he says.
The Clean Show is the world’s largest exposition for the laundering, drycleaning and textile services industry, notes the management firm. Show attendees can compare working equipment to determine what best suits their business, and can see and touch virtually every product the industry has to offer.
The show also offers more than 40 hours of education to meet the needs of all industry segments.
Attendee registration will open in early November.
The Clean Show also has contracted with several Las Vegas hotels to offer special rates and amenities, many of which have not been in previous Clean Show hotel packages, Riddle & Associates notes. Housing will open later in November.
Only hotel reservations made through the show’s official reservation company will receive the contracted amenities, reports Riddle & Associates. Attendees should be cautious about unauthorized people offering hotels or services claiming to be from the Clean Show, the firm advises.
Clean 2017 sponsors are the Association for Linen Management, Coin Laundry Association, Drycleaning & Laundry Institute, Textile Care Allied Trades Association and the Textile Rental Services Association of America.
The World Educational Congress for Laundering and Drycleaning—the show’s formal name—was first held in 1977. There has been a Clean Show every two years since, notes Riddle & Associates.
More information about Clean 2017 is available on the show’s website.
“Manufacturers in the textile care industry are ‘all in’ for the event,” brims Riddle. “You never know when or where you will find that one solution you have been looking for. Come find it at Clean 2017.”
