HANOVER, Mass. — Lapels Dry Cleaning has named Jeff Kline, owner of two Lapels franchise locations in Arizona, as its Franchise Owner of the Year for 2014. Kline, who resides in Gilbert, Ariz., owns Lapels stores in Gilbert and nearby Chandler, Ariz.
“Since Jeff opened his doors for business in 2011, his Lapels Dry Cleaning stores have exemplified the excellence we strive for with all our locations,” says Kevin Dubois, CEO of Lapels Dry Cleaning. “We congratulate him as a very worthy winner of Lapels Dry Cleaning’s Franchise Owner of the Year honors for 2014.”
Kline received a trophy and a $2,000 award, presented by Dubois.
Dubois cited several reasons for choosing Kline from among more than 60 franchise owners, including growth of Kline’s plant in Gilbert by nearly 50% and his Chandler satellite store by 20%; training new Lapels franchisees at his facility; development of a “strong” residential and hotel delivery business; working with the Lapels corporate team to create a “Construction Document” that has helped new franchise owners in the build of their new stores; helping, with his staff, to develop a customer review platform; and more.
Prior to opening his Lapels stores, Kline worked as an aerospace engineer.
“Our goal in opening our Lapels Dry Cleaning stores was to bring high-quality dry cleaning and superior customer service to our friends, neighbors and fellow East Valley residents,” says Kline, who owns and operates both locations with his wife. “To be recognized as Franchise Owner of the Year so soon after opening is really a testament to the business model Lapels has set up and the commitment and dedication of my wife, Tanya, and the rest of our team.”
