ELKRIDGE, Md. — Evans Garment Restoration’s Elkridge, Md., affiliate received the 2010 Crawford Contractor Connection Excellence in Achievement Award. This is the location’s second such award, having taken honors in 2008.
“We’re honored and proud to have received this award again,” says operator Chip Cunningham. “We work hard to maintain consistently high marks for our work and customer service.”
The award recognizes top contractors in each district of the Crawford network, an independent, nationwide provider of managed contractor repair for insurance companies and consumers. It is based on overall excellence measured by estimate times, customer service, professionalism, cooperation and overall performance, and will be presented at the 2011 Contractor Connection conference in San Diego this month.
Evans is a national restoration franchise that has developed proprietary processes to treat textiles, garments and soft goods damaged by fires, floods and other household disasters. The company claims a 92% success rate on all items.
“Our patented processes make our work different and better than traditional drycleaning and ozone-room methods,” Cunningham says. “Our people make that difference even bigger, and this award recognizes not just the improved process times and success rates, but the quality of the people and systems that deliver them.”
With plants in New Jersey and Maryland, Evans/Elkridge serves much of the MidAtlantic region.
