BERKLEY, Mich. — The Certified Restoration Drycleaning Network (CRDN) has signed on as a major sponsor of the Collegiate Players Tour (CPT), a summer-long golf competition for students from more than 350 colleges and universities across the United States.
CRDN’s sponsorship includes national financial support as well as local involvement in nine states: Texas, Alabama, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Louisiana, Georgia, New York and Oklahoma. Following tour stops in 11 cities, the CPT culminates with the national championship in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in August.
“We are pleased to support these young men and women who excel as students and as athletes,” says Chip Bifano, CRDN president. “We also are very proud of our local partners who have committed to being involved with the events in their communities.”
“The Collegiate Players Tour sincerely appreciates the support and involvement of CRDN,” says Barry Rodenhaver, CPT's executive director. “With organizations like CRDN stepping up and sponsoring our tour, we are looking forward to providing a competitive and rewarding tour for these young people, as well as support for area non-profits. In fact, over the years, the CPT has raised more than $1.5 million for local charities.”
While the objective of the tour is to provide experience and generate confidence among college players, at least eight former participants have gone on to play on the pro tour.
