LAUREL, Md. — Giving customers more opportunities to do business with your company and measuring the results of your marketing efforts are the focuses of June’s webinars sponsored by the Drycleaning & Laundry Institute (DLI).
Even though more options are opening for in-person conferences and industry gatherings, virtual workshops are still one of the most convenient ways to provide ongoing educational opportunities.
“Our goal, as always, is to give members more value than the cost of membership,” says Mary Scalco, DLI’s CEO. “DLI also continues to share weekly networking opportunities. We remain 100% focused on helping members communicate and grow.”
Upcoming Webinar Schedule
The following webinars will be held in June. All programs go live at 1 p.m. EST:
- Wednesday, June 8 — “My Experience Implementing Drycleaning Lockers,” with Ken Sandy of Dryy in Washington, D.C.
- Wednesday, June 15 — "Measuring Your Marketing – Only Do What Works,” with Industry Marketing Coach Dave Coyle of Maverick Drycleaners
Peer-to-Peer Meetings
DLI is also continuing to host weekly Peer-to-Peer Member Zoom meetings Tuesdays at 11:30 a.m. EST in June. “We believe in the value of peer-to-peer learning,” Scalco says. “These meetings are where DLI member cleaners come together to share ideas and find ways to improve their businesses. Participants tell me they find these meetings very valuable, since both large and small operators share their experiences and learn from each other.”

For members who can’t attend live webinars, DLI offers recordings of the presentations. This archive currently contains nearly 100 videos in the following categories:
