Zellers, Mannis Partner to Create New Company

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Jane Zellers, owner of JCZ Training & Consulting in Hershey, Pa., is partnering with Eddie Mannis, president of Prestige Cleaners in Knoxville, Tenn., to form Strategic Fabricare Solutions (SFS), a consulting and training company designed to share expertise with industry operators and management personnel.
SFS will provide consulting and training seminars on a variety of topics, including operational management, customer relations, route development, imaging and branding, and more.
Prestige Cleaners’ headquarters in Knoxville will serve as the on-site training facility for SFS. Mannis will continue in his position as president of Prestige Cleaners, and Zellers will continue to operate JCZ Training & Consulting.
Prestige Cleaners is one of the largest independently owned drycleaners in the country, with 10 stores, five pickup and delivery routes, and approximately 145 employees. Mannis was elected the first chairman of the national board of the Alliance of Professional Restoration Drycleaners (APRD), and he’s a past president of the Tennessee Fabricare Association (TFA) board of directors and a member of the International Drycleaner’s Congress (IDC).
Zellers, a former owner of drycleaning establishments, conducts training seminars on a variety of topics from customer service to plant startups. She has been chief instructor for the Texas Research Center for Laundry & Drycleaning at the Texas Woman’s University, and is currently teaching courses at the International Textile Center at Texas Tech University. She is a member of IDC, and is the allied-trades director for the Pennsylvania/Delaware Cleaners Association (PDCA). She is the past treasurer of the PDCA, past president of the International Fabricare Alumni Society and past president of the Central Pennsylvania Drycleaner’s Association (CPDA).
