NEW YORK CITY — The delivery.com website and mobile app for local e-commerce has now expanded its partnership with Yelp by activating online ordering for laundry and drycleaning services on the Yelp platform, delivery.com says.
Users browsing Yelp can now order from delivery.com laundry providers directly from the business’ Yelp listings.
For delivery.com, the company notes, deepening the integration with Yelp increases orders for its laundry and drycleaning merchant members, who will benefit from combined marketing efforts.
“This is a really important step forward for local commerce, and laundry and dry cleaners specifically,” says Jed Kleckner, CEO of delivery.com.
“Today’s consumers expect to be able to transact anywhere and everywhere,” says Kleckner, “so the more places we can make that possible, the better it is for the digital economy as a whole.”
In June 2013, delivery.com began powering online ordering for available restaurants on Yelp.
Thanks to a direct integration between the two platforms, users can easily find local merchants and complete transactions from the business’ Yelp listing, notes delivery.com, eliminating the need to be redirected to another website and reducing the distance from discovery to commerce.
Yelp commands averages of more than 90 million unique monthly visitors on mobile and 77 million on desktop.

The delivery.com site enables customers to order online from their favorite local restaurants, grocery stores, wine and spirits shops, and laundry and drycleaning providers.
