Virtual Fall Fest Expo Announced for December

Three-day event to examine today’s challenges and tomorrow’s opportunities

WILLOW GROVE, Pa. — The second annual Fall Fest Expo — a virtual educational conference designed to bring information and ideas to drycleaning owners and staff members — will take place Dec. 1-3.

The Expo, titled Today’s Plans Build Tomorrow’s Profits, is co-sponsored by The Northeast Fabricare Association (NEFA), Pennsylvania and Delaware Cleaners Association (PDCA) and the South Eastern Fabricare Association (SEFA) in cooperation with the Drycleaning & Laundry Institute (DLI).

The focus of the three-day online event will be to assist drycleaning professionals in transitioning from how business was done in the pre-pandemic era to anticipating the needs of customers — and team members — for future success.

“I think it’s a need to invest in your staff, and I think it’s a need to kind of re-energize people and look at some of the most important issues that are facing us today,” says Peter Blake, executive director of NEFA and SEFA.  “That’s what we’re trying to accomplish with the Fall Fest. The entire program is highlighting what some the biggest challenges — and the biggest opportunities — will be going forward in the drycleaning industry.”

Topics to be covered during the event include:

  • Looking at the Economic Landscape of Today and Forecasting Tomorrow
  • The Industry’s Response to “Once in a Generation” Challenges
  • Attracting & Managing the New Generation of Workforce
  • Taking Advantage of High Yield Marketing Approaches
  • The Best Culture Wins
  • Understanding the Opportunities the Future Holds

There will also be breakout rooms and other networking opportunities during the event.

Paid registration includes access to Fall Fest Expo events on Dec. 1-3 and access to all session recordings for three months following the event. Registration includes unlimited attendees from the member plant. Discounted rates are available until Nov. 19.
