Tiffany Cleaners Turns 50, Groovy!

Family owned dry cleaner will announce 50th year customer promotions soon

LAS VEGAS — Tiffany Couture Cleaners, Las Vegas’ family-owned dry cleaner known for its superior service and care for the finest clothing and fabrics, describes the owners, celebrates its 50th anniversary as a family-owned business in 2020.

Tiffany Couture Cleaners opened its first store in 1970 in Commercial Center, it relates. Today, the business has three locations and a production facility in Las Vegas and Henderson, Nev., it points out.

The family’s drycleaning history, it notes, began in the 1950s in Easton, Pa., with the Germano brothers, Eddie, Jack and Emilio, who ran G&G Cleaners in that town. Eddie fell in love with Las Vegas on a visit and sought to purchase a drycleaning operation in the city.

He discovered Tiffany in 1970. He moved his family to Las Vegas and, along with his wife Dee, ran the company for many years. In the ensuing years, Jack and Emilio moved to Las Vegas to help Eddie and Dee run the business, the current owners explain.

“In 2004, Eddie passed away and, in 2005, his daughter Judy Del Rossi and her husband Dan bought Tiffany from her Uncle Emilio,” they relate.

They expanded upon the name “Tiffany” in 2007, calling it Tiffany Couture Cleaners, because they believed, they say, it needed a more elevated name due to the caliber of clients and garments they serviced.

“Tiffany not only knew how to clean but also repair anything wardrobe managers needed. This level of care and skills would eventually lead Tiffany to become known as the ‘dry cleaner to the stars,’” the Del Rossi’s relate.

“Celebrity customers include Cirque du Soleil, the casts of Absinthe and Chippendales, Paula Abdul, Wayne Newton, Celine Dion, Lady Gaga and more,” they note.

Today, the couple says, it maintains Tiffany’s sterling reputation. Improvements and enhancements to the business include adding the environmentally safe and non-hazardous Solvon K4 (SK4) cleaning system in 2011, which they note makes Tiffany the first dry cleaners west of the Mississippi to implement the SK4 green cleaning process, among other updates.

“This year marks an extraordinary milestone for our family’s business,” says Judy Del Rossi. “Throughout all the change and growth, we work tirelessly to deliver the best care and service to our customers, while adopting today’s energy-efficient and safe cleaning methods.”

To include customers in the celebration, Tiffany will announce 50th anniversary-themed promotions soon, they add.
