DENVER — Tide Cleaners has announced that one of its franchisees has recently acquired three stores in Colorado. Experienced franchise owner Justin Sharbutt will convert the stores, acquired from Impressive Cleaners, in Centennial, Aurora and Denver into Tide Cleaner locations.
With the latest acquisition of a plant and two drop store locations, Sharbutt now operates 50 Tide Cleaners, with six additional locations currently under development. Sharbutt and his partners own 60 franchise locations across three brands in Texas and Colorado.
“The recently acquired locations help us expand our footprint in Colorado and serve a wider market,” Sharbutt says.
Sharbutt’s says this latest venture is unique in that he saw a market to acquire and convert another drycleaning brand into Tide Cleaners.
“Not only are we excited about acquiring three Impressive Cleaners, but we are also thrilled to be helping out a family-owned and operated business,” he says. “The father-son duo we conducted business with ran an incredible operation, and we are fortunate to have made a seamless transition into Tide Cleaners. By keeping the original locations intact, we are also serving the community with no disruption as we continue to remodel.”
In addition to the six additional locations currently under development, Sharbutt says he plans to open another 50+ Tide Cleaners across Colorado and Texas. Tide Cleaners currently has 229 outlets across the United States.
“We are thrilled to continue growing across the state of Colorado,” says Andrew Gibson, president of Tide Cleaners. “Acquiring and converting three dry cleaners to Tide Cleaners is no small feat. Justin and his team have worked tirelessly to make this deal happen, and we are here to help them continue to grow in Colorado.”
