SOUTH JORDAN, Utah — Tide Dry Cleaners opened its second store in the Salt Lake City market here in April with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by members of the local Chamber of Commerce and local dignitaries.
Chris Harris, (co-owner with brother Nick) of LooLoo LLC, the franchisee of the Utah Tide Dry Cleaners stores, notes, “What we wanted to achieve with our South Jordan grand opening was really to make a connection with the greater Salt Lake City community.”
The company applies Tide’s® 65 years of fabricare experience, GreenEarth® Cleaning technology and concierge services to meet customers’ needs, it indicates.
Prior to opening their first Tide Dry Cleaners store in nearby Draper last July, the Harrises operated a regional restoration business that grew to employ more than 100 employees.
“We have always been family-oriented, and we are so excited to ‘wow’ our customers with the exceptional level of quality, care and customer service that Tide Dry Cleaners is known for,” says Chris Harris.
“South Jordan will come to find that we treat every Tide Dry Cleaners customer like family. We are constantly striving to exceed their expectations,” he adds.
Tide Dry Cleaners in South Jordan is a collaboration between LooLoo LLC and Agile Pursuits Franchising Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Procter & Gamble (P&G).
“We are thrilled to see the Tide Dry Cleaners network continue to expand in the Utah market. We join the Harris family in celebrating the opening of their new Tide Dry Cleaners location in South Jordan,” says Jeff Wampler, CEO, Agile Pursuits Franchising.
“We’ve listened to consumers who share their frustrations with dry cleaning and we’re excited to continue leading the way in changing dry cleaning for good,” says Erica Jones, Tide Dry Cleaners marketing manager. “With unique service offerings, the highest quality and exceptional customer service – we are showing our customers that they deserve more from their drycleaning experience.”
The Tide Dry Cleaners system includes the convenience of drive-thru concierge services and 24-hour pickup and drop-off with Tide Dry Cleaners kiosk and dropbox, the company states.
All in-store visitors during the grand opening received two free items with their drycleaning order.
“It was an absolute success,” Chris Harris says of the grand opening, “and it was great to showcase some of the great customer convenience features that make Tide Dry Cleaners unique.”
