MW Cleaners’ 36 stores become Tide Dry Cleaners

HOUSTON — As it notes on it’s website, MW Cleaners, “Is excited to announce that we’re joining the Tide Dry Cleaners system, and the most trusted expert in the fabric care industry, to better serve you. Soon, we will be converting our 36 MW Cleaners stores in Houston, Texas, and the MW Cleaners delivery business in Austin, Texas, to Tide Dry Cleaners.”

Mike Nesbit, MW Cleaners president, writes in a recent letter to customers: “We are thrilled to expand the Tide Dry Cleaners brand in Texas along with some of the most influential leaders in the drycleaning industry.”

He adds that, “Tide shares our core belief that customer service is the cornerstone of our business, so rest assured — we’re bringing along the entire MW Cleaners staff that you’ve come to love.”

He further indicates in the letter that, “As our guest you should not see any disruption to your current experience. In fact, you can expect the same great customer service and cleaning expertise combined with new benefits that only Tide Dry Cleaners can deliver. Here are a few:

  • 24-hour drop-off and pickup on your schedule;

  • Open seven days a week with extended hours;

  • A 7-Point Inspection that includes tightening loose threads and replacing cracked buttons for free;

  • Brighter whites and darker blacks with Tide Restore™ and Back-To-Black™ services;

  • Rewards and more with the Tide Inner Circle rewards program.”

The company indicates on its website in a web post dated May 2018: “We’re excited to make this change over the next few months and we’ll make sure to keep you informed as we transition!”

For over 70 years, Tide® laundry detergent has been caring for the clothes of American families, it notes, and is an extension of the Tide® brand. The franchise system is expanding across the United States, it adds.
