WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. — As a way of providing its members with continuing educational opportunities, the Textile Care Allied Trades Association (TCATA) has announced that members are eligible to participate in the University of Innovative Distribution (UID) Conference, taking place March 21-24, 2022, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The conference, with the theme “Distribute Innovation: Influence, Implement, and Integrate,” will offer courses in six different tracks:
Sales — Courses include “How to Strengthen Your Sales Team’s Selling Skills,” “Value-Added Selling: How to Sell More Profitably by Competing on Value, Not Price” and “How to Accelerate Your Competitive Advantage in Today’s Unstable Markets.”
Management — Courses include “Finding a Balance: People, Product, and Profitability,” “How to Keep Your Top Talent from Becoming Someone Else’s” and “Winning the Talent War: How to Attract and Keep the Best Talent.”
Distribution Strategy — Courses include “Managing Your Inventory and Supply Chain in a Chaotic Business World,” “Max Out Margins with Strategic Pricing” and “Facing the Forces of Change in Distribution.”
Leadership and Professional Development — Courses include “The Unspoken Rules of Leadership,” “Personal Leadership & Time Management” and “Building a Culture of Success: Leadership at All Levels.”
Marketing — Courses include “Creating a Winning Marketing Plan,” “Marketing in a Multi-Channel World” and “Brand Harmony: Creating a Unified Customer Experience.”
Operations — Courses include “Improving the Bottom Line,” “Beyond Trust: Build Your High-Performing Teams With a Higher Value Than Trust” and “Stop Today’s Hackers: What You Need to Know.”
The courses, according to UID, are “designed to enhance and fortify your knowledge, skills, and abilities with hands-on experience to support immediate application into your work environment.” UID also notes that attendees earn the equivalent of three Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for participating in UID, which can be applied toward the Purdue University Certificate of Innovative Distribution.
The deadline for registration is March 6, 2022, with early bird discounts available until Jan. 2, 2022.
