TCATA Heads into New Year with New Committee Appointments

FAIRFIELD, N.J. — Textile Care Allied Trades Association (TCATA) President Bryant Dunivan recently made three committee appointments, the association reports.

Angie Kalayjian, president of Norchem Corp., Los Angeles, will serve on TCATA’s Government Affairs Committee. She previously served on TCATA’s Conference Business Program Committee, and has served in various volunteer positions for both regional and national associations.

TCATA says Kalayjian “is a strong supporter of associations and advocates the power of collaborative expertise to expand the textile services market.”

John Silverman, president of Tschopp Supply, Buffalo, N.Y., has been appointed to TCATA’s Membership Committee, also currently serving on the 2014 Annual Conference Business Program Committee.

“[Silverman] has always been a supporter of TCATA and continues to spread the word about its value to non-member companies,” the association says.

Michael Leeming, national sales and marketing manager for Parker Boiler Co., Los Angeles, has also been appointed to the association’s Membership Committee, having previously chaired its golf tournament at the 2013 Annual Conference.

“Mike is also a strong supporter of associations and believes in their power to represent the industry with a single voice,” says TCATA.

Appointed chair of the 2014 Annual Management & Educational Conference Business Program Committee is Milton Magnus of M&B Hangers, working alongside Bill Odorizzi, Sankosha USA; Randy Schwarzmann, A.L. Wilson Chemical; Gene Williams, American Laundry Products; and Silverman.
