Speaker Peuster Will ‘Take Delivery Routes to the Next Level’ at June SDLS Show

Adams also to speak on touch points, ‘super’ CSRs

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — James Peuster of The Route Pros and Trudy Adams from 21st Century Dry Cleaners are two of the highlighted speakers at the Southern Drycleaners and Launderers Show (SDLS) set for June 24-26 here at the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center.

The host, South Eastern Fabricare Association (SEFA), has many informative sessions planned throughout the weekend, including the Friday afternoon, June 24, route service workshop during which Peuster will explain how to “take delivery routes to the next level,” SEFA notes.

Adams will speak twice: first on Saturday morning, June 25, drawing from her talents to create and implement customer service relationship programs with a new seminar program called The Magic of a Touch Point.

Then Adams returns to the stage Sunday, June 26, to present Creating a Super CSR.

In other presentations, on Saturday morning, two speakers will examine The Anatomy of a Drycleaning Plant, focusing on the “hearts and lungs” of a cleaning plant by looking at boilers and air compressors, writes SEFA. Mike Campbell of Quincy Compressors will head the presentation on air compressors while Mike Leeming of Parker Boiler will address boilers.

An update on the Florida drycleaning solvent cleanup program will be presented at 3 p.m. Saturday by representatives of the Florida Department of Revenue and the Florida Drycleaners Coalition.

On Sunday, Don Holeck, owner of Crown Cleaners in Knoxville, Tenn., and a SEFA board member, will take to the podium for a session on how to get the most out of association membership.

On Friday morning, Be Creative 360, a company with roots in the drycleaning industry, will discuss social media and reputation management programs starting at 10 a.m.

Conference registration, including admission to the Saturday and Sunday seminars as well as the exhibit hall, is free to everyone. Friday’s programs are free to SEFA members, while non-members must pay $50 each to attend.

A Welcome Cocktail Reception slated for 6 to 8 p.m. Friday will feature a preview of the exhibit hall, with hors d’oeuvres.

With more than 120 booths and 60 companies exhibiting, the exhibit hall will feature numerous live demonstrations of the latest in drycleaning and laundry cleaning technology and offerings, SEFA relates.

Official show hours will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

This year’s headquarters hotel is the Hyatt Regency Riverfront.
