Solvair Slashes Price of System Ownership

NAPERVILLE, Ill. — Solvair LLC has announced a new pricing structure for its Solvair Cleaning System. The new pricing structure lowers the initial capital investment for drycleaners from $150,000 to $80,000, with additional reductions in installation costs.
“When we first commercialized this technology, we explained that we would look forward to reductions in equipment costs as we scaled up,” says L. Ross Beard, president and chief executive officer of Solvair. “After two years of commercial operations, we have attained negotiated reductions in raw materials, manufacturing and overhead.”
In addition, Solvair has offset some initial investment costs by incorporating them into monthly costs. While Solvair has no licensing or franchise fees, the company offers technical and marketing support for a monthly fee.
“In this economic climate, we believe that most cleaners and financial institutions prefer a digestible monthly cost versus a larger, upfront capital investment cost,” says Blain Wrench, Solvair’s vice president of sales.
