PALM SPRINGS, Fla. — Dry cleaners who are curious if the process of wet cleaning could be included into their offerings will have the chance to explore the topic during an in-person seminar next month.
The event, “Wet Cleaning Done Right,” will explore several facets of the process and offer hands-on training opportunities for participants. The seminar, to be held on Saturday, Oct. 16, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST, will take place at the East Coast Drycleaning Equipment facilities in Palm Springs, Florida.
The event is sponsored by Seitz — The Fresher Company, East Coast Drycleaning Equipment, Miele Professional, Sankosha and FabriClean Supply.
Instructors and presenters for the event will include Frank Briercheck and Larry Wolff from Seitz Chemicals, Paulo Rocha from Miele Professional, Steve Jennings from East Coast Drycleaning Equipment and live professional cleaners representing Sankosha.
Attendees of the event will receive hands-on instruction for topics including:
- Sorting for wet cleaning
- Spotting and fabrics
- Cleaning and tension finishing.
Seat reservations will cost $50 per plant. In addition to the seminar, that cover charge also includes a $50 purchase voucher from Seitz, along with the waving of freight charges on any purchase from East Coast Drycleaning Equipment.
