SAN ANTONIO — The Southwest Drycleaners Association (SDA) is providing direct financial assistance to drycleaners who are reopening their businesses after losses from recent hurricanes.
The financial aid is intended to help drycleaners pay for some of the initial expenses incurred as they try to restart their businesses, including replacing supplies and materials of other immediate needs, SDA says.
Drycleaners seeking assistance must fill out an application and return it to SDA by Nov. 30. After initial screening, the applications will be forwarded to a committee for processing and approval. To help ensure fairness, the committee will not have access to the names or addresses of applicants.
For more information or to request an application, call SDA at 888-732-2567.
