WASHINGTON — The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has enhanced its educational podcasts by adding new topics designed to help small-business owners and entrepreneurs weather the current economic storm.
Fifteen SBA podcasts are available at SBA’s website here, providing information, tips and advice on a variety of small-business topics. Newly added topics include marketing to the federal government, getting a small business ready for tax season and online reporting of employee wages.
Each podcast is less than 10 minutes long and can be played on a computer or downloaded to an MP3 player. They feature interviews from SBA staff as well as government, industry and business professionals.
The SBA plans to release more podcasts every month on topics ranging from business-plan development and downshifting in a slowing economy to going green and programs tailored to veterans.
