CINCINNATI, Ohio — Tide Dry Cleaners, operated by Procter & Gamble subsidiary Agile Pursuits Franchising, is expanding to Atlanta. The company plans to open multiple franchised drycleaning locations and is currently seeking qualified entrepreneurs to operate the facilities.
P&G launched Tide Dry Cleaners in 2008 with a pilot of three drycleaner stores in Kansas City. Tide aims to replicate the success of its sister company, Mr. Clean Car Wash, which entered the carwash business in 2007 and is now the largest full-service carwash franchise in the United States.
Tide Dry Cleaners use the GreenEarth cleaning process, and offer a drive-thru service and 24/7 locker access.
“Entering the franchise and service market is a model we find very attractive, as shown by the Mr. Clean Car Wash operations,” says Jeff Wampler, general manager of Tide Dry Cleaners. “Expanding our interests into the services industry helps us to reach more consumers’ lives with outstanding service we know consumers are looking for and need.”
Tide is offering a seminar on June 3 for prospective franchisees. For information, e-mail [email protected] or visit www.tidedrycleaners.com/franchising.
