Five Star event at Cancun’s Secrets Capri resort this Jan.

NEW YORK, N.Y. — Brainstorming With The Best & The Five Star Conference is heading to Secrets Capri Riviera Cancun resort, Jan. 11-14, 2018, reports event co-hosts the National Cleaners Association (NCA) and the Drycleaning & Laundry Institute (DLI).

“Join us at a wonderful, intimate boutique resort where connecting with your fellow dry cleaners is easy, natural and fun,” writes the NCA.

“This is the dry cleaning event where you will find amazing speakers, networking, unlimited food and drink, and so much camaraderie,” it says.

On Friday, Jan. 12, at 9 a.m., speaker Deena Ebbert will present: FISH! Philosophy: Exciting Your Business Environment. The NCA describes the session: “Employee development, engagement, skill, performance, and commitment are the cornerstones of any company’s ability to deliver on their promises to their customers.

“Ebbert is the premier speaker on the FISH Philosophy, a method some of today’s greatest brands use to electrify workers and customers.”

About FISH from her website: “Discover how four practices – Play, Make Their Day, Be There, and Choose Your Attitude – are relevant to such critical issues as teamwork, customer service, productivity, and employee retention.”

On Saturday, Jan. 13, at 9 a.m., speaker Joseph Grenny will present: Vital Smarts: How to Talk to Your Employees When Things Go Wrong.

Grenny will lead Saturday morning, the NCA says, “with his proven method for driving change in employee and employer behaviors. He’s shared this effective approach with successful clients like Lockheed Aeronautics, IBM, Progressive Insurance, Sprint, Textron, McGraw-Hill, Texas Instruments, and medical giant Genentech.”

On Sunday, Jan. 14., at 9 a.m., speaker Brian Rashid will speak on Connecting The Dots. This from his website: “Rashid has built his career by storytelling and communication. Brian is the CEO and creator of A Life in Shorts, a modern day branding, digital media, and communications company that tells your story like it’s never been told before.”
