NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. — Lapels Dry Cleaning, self-described as an environmentally-friendly dry cleaning company headquartered in Hanover, Mass., opened a full-service dry cleaning plant at 435 Winthrop Avenue, here on Sept. 30, it reports.
Besides amenities such as a reward programs, it also offers it’s customers a “car hop” service where customers can drop off and pickup their clothing without ever leaving their cars.
It adds that using the latest technology in equipment, it is one of the few dry cleaners able to boast that there is no hazardous waste in its process.
“We’re extremely excited to bring a sustainable, non-toxic way of dry cleaning clothes to North Andover,” says Lan Nguyen, owner of the newly opened store.
“When we opened our doors on Sept. 30, Lapels became one of the only dry cleaners in town using a 100% environmentally non-toxic cleaning solution,” she says.
The drycleaning company writes that it “has pioneered its eco-friendly dry cleaning experience over the past 18 years. Part of that effort includes a partnership agreement with GreenEarth®, the dry cleaning industry’s only non-toxic cleaning alternative, for its newer locations like North Andover.”
Further, the company points out, its customers are greeted to a warm and inviting reception area, with friendly customer service representatives, and alteration services.
Hours here will be Mon.-Fri., 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sat. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sun., 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
