KEARNY, N.J. — NextCleaners drycleaning and laundry service, which serves New York City and northern New Jersey, recently launched its NextSpeedy mobile on-demand service.
New, custom-designed cargo tricycles, called “Speedys,” allow for pickup in as little as 30 minutes of receiving customer requests, the company writes.
The service will enable customers to place pickup requests and track order status through the company’s web application or mobile apps, available for download through the Apple Store and Google Play.
“Dry cleaning and laundry are one of the essential services that can be provided on-demand,” says Kam Saifi, the company founder and CEO. “With the launch of NextSpeedy, our company is positioned to become a leading provider of on-demand services in our marketplace.”
“The advent of mobile app technologies,” Saifi notes, “has enabled the creation of many on-demand services that allow people to handle their day-to-day but essential tasks.”
NextCleaners’ goal, Saifi indicates, is to provide eco-friendly dry cleaning as well as complimentary services for the customer. The company has partnered with Hello Alfred, a shared neighborhood butler services company, to man the tricycles and make the service calls. Use of the tricycles will help to protect the environment because there are no carbon emissions.
“The strategic partnership is focused on delivering a great customer experience in the marketplace,” says Marcela Sapone, CEO of Hello Alfred. Her company’s home managers, who are the single point of contact for customers, work closely with NextCleaners to deliver drycleaning, laundry and custom tailoring services.
The new service brings together the company’s mobile app, a multi-tiered delivery model and the custom cargo tricycles.
