SAN ANTONIO, Texas — The full membership of North American Restoration Dry Cleaners (NARD) recently convened for an all-day meeting here during the National Contractor Connection conference.
Members of the elite organization specialize in remediation of clothes that have been damaged by fire, smoke, water or exposure to mold or other contaminants.
At the Texas gathering, the membership interviewed three “new and well qualified prospective members” that hail from different West Coast markets. Each of the candidates showed favorably, NARD reports, and are in the final stages of the vetting process.
The group also granted full membership status to Western New York member Urban Valet of Buffalo, N.Y., for surpassing the organization’s service and volume benchmarks.
NARD’s annual meeting is scheduled for Sept. 19 in Kansas City, Mo.
