In Memoriam: Dick Knisley, Parker Boiler Co.

Long-time employee died Sept. 3 at the age of 76

LOS ANGELES — Richard Allen “Dick” Knisley, of Parker Boiler Co., died in Glendora, California, on Sept. 3 at the age of 76.

Knisley was a valued member of the Parker Boiler family, having started there in 1967 and completing 53 years of service.

Knisley was born Dec. 20, 1943, in Port Huron, Michigan. He began work at Parker Boiler in the crating department and then moved to the repair shop. In 1971, he advanced to outside service, and was again promoted in 2004 to service manager.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Knisley, and his daughters, Kimberly and Lynette Knisley.

Services for Knisley were held at the Oakdale Mortuary in Glendora.
