Lapels Dry Cleaning Adds 2nd Mississippi Store

Tupelo joins New Albany as franchise’s Magnolia State sites

HANOVER, Mass. — The Lapels Dry Cleaning franchise will open a new store and plant at 367 N. Gloster St. in Tupelo, Miss., next month, with an April 25 opening planned.

“We are delighted to bring Lapels’ standard of high-quality dry cleaning and superior customer service to Tupelo,” says Leah Richardson, who with husband Martin owns and operates Lapels Dry Cleaning of Tupelo. “Lapels Dry Cleaning has been very well received at the other Mississippi location in New Albany, and we’re confident of a similar result here in Tupelo.”

Lapels has pioneered its eco-friendly dry cleaning experience over the past dozen years, the franchisor says. Most recently, it signed a partnership agreement with GreenEarth® for its newer locations, including Tupelo. Lapels claims its cleaning process leaves no odor and is gentler on clothes, thus lengthening garment life.

Lapels’ emphasis on customer service starts with a “warm and inviting reception area, with friendly customer service representatives, and alteration services,” the franchisor says. Lapels offers customers “Automatic Rewards,” with customers earning credit toward free dry cleaning for every dollar they spend; loyalty programs; a VIP program that eliminates the need to wait in line; the use of a 24-hour drop-off service, and free home delivery to all customers. Same-day service is available with pick-up after 5 p.m.

The grand opening of Lapels Dry Cleaning of Tupelo has been set for May 30.
