SECAUCUS, N.J. — On the fall weekend of October 19-20, 2019, in sight of the awesome New York City skyline in the near distance, the National Cleaners Association (NCA) will once again host the TexCare 2019 show at the Meadowlands Expo Center here.
According to the show’s co-coordinator, NCA’s Director of Special Projects, Ann Hargrove, this year’s show will be bigger and better than ever.
“Texcare,” Hargrove points out, “has such a great dry cleaner turnout, we also have just about every industry manufacturer or supplier a dry cleaner could ever need on the show floor.”
She points out that, “It’s a great opportunity for cleaners to find new vendors and ideas, or simply cement bonds with existing suppliers.”
The New York area location also has an appeal for many cleaners from other parts of the country as well, the NCA notes.
“Autumn in New York is a great time,” says NCA Executive Director Nora Nealis, “which makes this the perfect opportunity for cleaners from other parts of the country to combine a great investment in their business by attending TexCare with an NYC holiday, courtesy of that business.”
In addition to all the live demonstrations and new products and services on the show floor, the NCA has planned a very strong and relevant educational program, it relates.
This year, NCA members’ interests and the real world problems and concerns they’ve been facing in their own businesses are driving TexCare’s educational program, the NCA states.
The seminars will be focus on: Sexual Harassment Training; Employee Retention Problems; Attracting New Customers; Making More Money; and Problem Garments.
The NCA says that, “For out-of towners, The Meadowlands location makes it easily accessible from all NYC’s major airports, including JFK, LaGuardia and Newark, as well as NYC Penn Station (Amtrak).”
The NCA also notes that, “The special convention rates available at the Embassy Suites and Holiday Inn, located across the street from the convention center, make the weekend especially affordable.”
