Half of Clean 2011 Exhibit Space Sold

With just under a year to go until the ribbon-cutting, the 2011 Clean Show has sold more than half of its available exhibit space. The show is set to take place June 6-9, 2011, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
"We are delighted that sales are going so well," says Jim Thacker, chairman of the Clean Executive Committee and executive director of the Association for Linen Management (ALM). "This appears to be an indication that the industry's economy is picking up. We want potential exhibitors to know, though, that there are still many good spaces available."
Exhibitors and attendees can make hotel reservations for any of the show's 11 official hotels beginning July 15. Clean has negotiated special rates to suit any budget at the following hotels: Bally's (CLA headquarters), Caesar's Palace, The Flamingo, Harrah's, Imperial Palace, Las Vegas Hilton (TCATA and TRSA headquarters), The Mirage, Paris (DLI headquarters), Planet Hollywood (ALM headquarters), Riviera and Wynn Las Vegas.
To take advantage of the special rates, make reservations through the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority Housing Service. Visit www.cleanshow.com, click "Attendees" or "Exhibitors," and select "Travel & Hotels" on the left-hand margin. Reservations require an arrival and departure date, and one night's deposit for each room reserved.
Clean 2011 — a.k.a. "The Show That Works" — is the only textile-care show featuring working equipment, show-planning firm Riddle & Associates says, as well as educational seminars and networking opportunities that work to improve business. Approximately 10,000 to 12,000 people from around the world are expected to attend, and suppliers of equipment, products or services to the textile care industry will find a wealth of buyers at the show, Riddle & Associates adds.
Officially titled the World Educational Congress for Laundering & Drycleaning, Clean is sponsored by the Association for Linen Management (ALM), Coin Laundry Association (CLA), Drycleaning & Laundry Institute (DLI), Textile Care Allied Trades Association (TCATA) and Textile Rental Services Association of America (TRSA).
