LONDON — “If you are excited by the potential of connected technology, you need to be at the Wearable Technology Show,” says show management. The show will be at the Business Design Centre in London, March 12-13, 2019.
According to the Wearable Technology 2019 Show website, people attending the smart textiles paid track on March 12, can expect to hear exclusive inside information from the developers of wearable electronics and e-textiles who are using next-generation technology in their manufacturing process, and even in the clothing produced.
“We are also proud to feature the latest news in sustainable innovation within the textiles industry, and a focus on recyclable textiles,” it says.
Now in its sixth year, show organizers point out other reasons they say this is a “must-attend” show.
“New companies have unprecedented success at our event,” they relates, “reaching press and visitors they could otherwise only dream of.”
Show spokespeople note: “Over 5,000 delegates are expected at the event. Companies like British Airways, IKEA, Rolls Royce, Amazon, Samsung, Virgin, Barclays, Allianz, and SAP are already confirmed to attend, as well as retailers, buyers and a host of enterprise companies looking to deploy wearable technology.”
They also report the show attracts coverage from some of the world’s biggest media outlets, including the BBC, Sky TV, Channel 9 Australia, Bloomberg, CNET and more.
Organizers add that, “Our conference program is generally acknowledged to be the best of any wearable show anywhere. It offers opportunities for our partners to get involved in the conversation in front of a knowledgeable audience, including dedicated tracks for smart textiles and artificial intelligence.”
