DENVER, N.C. — Leonard Automatics welcomes Kyle Wells to its technical service team.
Jeff Frushtick, Leonard Automatics president and CEO, says: “Kyle’s experience makes him an excellent, and very knowledgeable technical specialist to assist customers with their products.”
Wells will be part of the team of technicians responsible for the installation and technical support for the company’s equipment.
“Kyle spent five years in the U.S. Marines as a communication, navigation, and radar technician on the EA-6B Prowler,” the firm relates.
“He was an E-4 Corporal, fixed various electronic systems and supervised multiple maintenance actions performed on the aircraft platform for quality and control,” the company further notes. “Kyle worked on various electronics to include trouble-shooting and repair, down to individual component level.”
According to the U.S. Navy’s naval air systems website, the plane is a long-range, all-weather aircraft with advanced electronic countermeasures capability. And at another U.S. military website it is described this way: The Prowler has been the U.S. Navy’s primary carrier-based electronic warfare aircraft since the Vietnam war.
In his role as technician, the company indicates, he will be responsible for installation and repair of various pieces of equipment that includes on-sight service calls and remote technical support.
“I look forward to helping customers with what they need and learning the insides and outs of Leonard machines,” says Wells.
