SOUTH CHARLESTON, Ohio — The assets of F.H. Bonn Company, a leading manufacturer of pads, covers and related products for the dry cleaning and laundry industries, have been acquired by Buckeye Pads and Covers LLC, the latter reports.
Tim Kephart, president of Buckeye Pads and Covers LLC, and who served as F.H. Bonn operations manager for more than 30 years, states that the product line will continue to be sold under the F.H. Bonn brand by a network of authorized distributors located throughout North America and more than 20 countries internationally.
According to the company, the business was originally founded in 1947 by Francis Henry Bonn, whose mission was to produce the industry’s highest-quality pads and covers.
“Throughout its history, the company has been led by three generations of the Bonn family who continued the traditions established by Francis in creating a product line renowned for perfect fit and finish, and manufactured in the USA from the highest-quality materials,” it relates.
The company states that its products are featured as original equipment by more than 55 different manufacturers of pressing, ironing and finishing equipment.
Kephart indicates that Darrin Bonn, also a 30-year company veteran, “will serve as vice president, operations, and that manufacturing and customer service operations will continue to be located in Ohio.”
He further notes that customers and distributors can continue to reach the company through its website, adding, “We look forward to serving our customers.”
