DLI Seeks Nominations for Meritorious Service Awards

LAUREL, Md. — The Drycleaning & Laundry Institute (DLI) is seeking nominations for its Meritorious Service Awards. Nominations are open to plant owners, educators, suppliers and other individuals who provide exemplary volunteer service, and are not limited to DLI members, the association says.
Nominations are being accepted for six awards: Positive Recognition for the Industry, Positive Recognition for the Industry – International, Legislative/Regulatory, Technology Trailblazer, Allied Trades, Green Fields and Commitment to Professionalism.
DLI does not accept nominations for its top honor, the Diamond Achievement Award, which is only given out if the Awards Selection Committee determines that a nominee in one of the other six categories warrants it.
All winners will be honored during a ceremony at the Clean Show in New Orleans, June 18.
Nomination forms can be found in the January-February issue of DLI’s Fabricare and must be mailed to Bill Fisher, CEO, Award Nominations, DLI, 14700 Sweitzer Lane, Laurel, MD 20707, by April 10.
