DLI Prepares for November Online Sessions

Programs to focus on route growth and team efficiency

LAUREL, Md. — Continuing education and training are key to maintaining momentum and building profitability in a business. To facilitate this for dry cleaners, the Drycleaning & Laundry Institute (DLI) is continuing to offer webinars, as well as networking opportunities, for its members.

“Since its founding, DLI has existed to help member dry cleaners communicate, learn, and grow together,” said Mary Scalco, DLI’s CEO. “We strive to return a higher value than the cost of membership in everything we do at DLI. This month’s educational offerings target specific areas of concern for members. By addressing these topics and providing open communications channels for all members we are helping industry professionals connect and succeed. Our doors are open. I welcome every industry professional who is not a member to join DLI and enjoy the benefits of membership.”

The following webinars and virtual training opportunities will be held in November 2021. All programs go live at 1 p.m. EST:

  • Wednesday, Nov. 3 — Webinars paused this week
  • Wednesday, Nov. 10 — Getting the Most from Your Team with James Peuster of The Route Pros
  • Wednesday, Nov. 17 — How to Grow Your Route with Industry Marketing Coach Dave Coyle of Maverick Drycleaners
  • Wednesday, Sept. 22 — Webinars paused this week for U.S. Thanksgiving holiday

Peer-to-Peer Meetings

DLI is also continuing to host weekly Peer-to-Peer Member Zoom meetings Tuesdays at 11:30 a.m. Eastern, each week in September, except for the week of Columbus Day. “Members learn how other cleaning business professionals are adapting to the current business climate, share ideas, get answers to questions, and even just vent,” Scalco says.

On-Demand Video Archive

For members who can’t attend live webinars, DLI offers recordings of the presentations. This archive currently contains nearly 100 videos in the following categories:
