Destination Shanghai: Texcare Asia is Coming

Fair will ride wave of global interest to China, Sept. 27-29, 2017

SHANGHAI, China — Texcare Asia 2017 is coming here this Sept., and show organizers expect a “strong interest from the global market,” writes Messe Frankfurt Shanghai Co. Ltd.

According to Messe, and co-host China Light Industry Machinery Association (CLIMA), the show Sept. 27-29, is drawing a: “Wave of elevated enthusiasm,” adding that, “international industrial associations recommend the fair to players from around the world.”

‘Wave’ is a perfect word for the Shanghai event since the city name means “Upon The Sea.”

Located in this sprawling coastal city of 25 million that faces the Yellow Sea, the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, will be the site for an expected 11,000 attendees and more than 160 exhibitors to come together at Texcare Asia.

Organizers say confirmed participating companies include: Baiqiang, BÖWE, BÜFA, Castic-SMP, Chuandao, Datamars, EazyCleanEcolab, ElectroluxGirbau, HohensteinJensen, Kannegiesser, Lapauw, Maxi-Press, Miele, Oasis, Sailstar, Sankosha, Sealion, Seitz, Stahl, TOTO, Vega, VeitVossWeishi, and Yamamoto.

These exhibitors, note Messe, “are sharing the same goal to showcase the latest industrial innovations in front of professional trade visitors and buyers during the three-day event.”

“I am happy to learn the fair has received tremendous feedback from many key industry players. It also reflected the unparalleled position of the fair in the fast-developing textile care industry in Asia,” says Richard Li, general manager of the fair.

“Moving to its ninth edition, the fair will continue to be a one-stop sourcing and networking platform for the Asian community,” he relates.

The textile care and cleaning industry in Asia is undergoing a major transformation toward high operational efficiency and energy-saving, notes fair organizers, due to the boost of labor costs and the raised-awareness of environmental protection.

The fair is a place for the industry to exchange fresh ideas and reveal the latest technologies, it adds, noting it has support from a number of international industry associations such as: International Drycleaners Congress (Canada); All Japan Laundry and Drycleaning Association (Japan); and others.

Texcare Asia is a biennial event and also a sister event of Texcare International, held every four years.
