COLVILLE, Wash. — The staff at garment pressing and finishing equipment manufacturer Colmac Industries has grown with the additions of David Glanville, manufacturing coordinator; Scott Voldbaek, marketing coordinator; and Kenny Rea and Ben Upper, R&D (research and development) engineers, the company reports.
Glanville brings five years of experience in technical drafting to Colmac. In addition to assisting customers with developing conceptual layouts, he will also be responsible for developing and improving processes to increase manufacturing efficiency and quality, the company says. He is a graduate of Grand Canyon University.
In his new position as marketing coordinator, Voldbaek will be managing Colmac’s marketing materials and working to further promote the company’s brand. He has 25 years of laundry industry experience, says Colmac.
As the company’s new research and development engineers, Rea and Upper will be responsible for designing new products, improving current designs and assisting with testing and quality control, according to Colmac.
A graduate of Washington State University, Rea has a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering. Upper also has a degree in mechanical engineering, having earned his bachelor of science from the University of Idaho.
