Clean Show Attendance Beats 2005 Numbers

LAS VEGAS, Nev. — The crowds didn’t lie. Preliminary estimates indicate that Clean ’07 in Las Vegas last week was better attended than Clean ’05 in Orlando, according Atlanta-based show planner Riddle & Associates.
At the end of the third day of the four-day show, 14,564 people had registered; the number will increase after Riddle tallies registrations on the final day of the show — traditionally the shortest and slowest. Total attendance for all four days of Clean ’05 was just 13,951, however, already 4.4% lower than this year’s three-day total.
Clean ’07 was a more compact exhibition than Clean ’05. The show took up slightly less floorspace, with 227,950 sq. ft. compared to Clean ’05’s 228,850 sq. ft. Some 484 companies exhibited last week, down from 511 two years prior.
Riddle & Associates will announce Clean ’07’s final attendance figures as soon as they become available. The next Clean Show will return to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, June 18-21, 2009.
