Clean ’19 Will Light It Up

Numbers are up for attendees, exhibitors coming to New Orleans show

NEW ORLEANS — Attendees and exhibitors signing up to be part of Clean 2019, to be held here this June 20-23, are outpacing the numbers for the Clean Show in Vegas held two years ago.

About attendees, Riddle & Associates says: “As of March 10, 2019, registration numbers for Clean 2019 were 6% higher than that for the same number of days out from Clean 2017.”

The show management firm also notes: “Clean ’19 space sales are on track to surpass the 481 exhibiting companies seen at Clean 2017.”

Clean ’19 will be held at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, and show organizers anticipate more than 210,000 net sq. ft. of booth/stand space.

At Clean ’19 there will be 30 hours of educational sessions across all four days of the show, with a focus on technical information, trends, business management, and environmental and regulatory issues, Riddle says.

The Clean Show, known by its full name as the World Educational Congress for Laundering and Drycleaning, has a new proprietor, Messe Frankfurt, Inc., which bought the show earlier this year.

The Clean Show has five sponsors: Drycleaning & Laundry Institute (DLI)Textile Care Allied Trades Association (TCATA)Association for Linen Management (ALM)Coin Laundry Association (CLA); and, Textile Rental Services Association of America (TRSA).

Riddle reports that the Clean Show is listed in Trade Show News Network’s Top 100 shows, and is described as the largest industry show in the world featuring working equipment and education.

Also the management firm notes the show, “Attracts all facets of the drycleaning, laundering, and textile-care industry — from drycleaning establishments and single-owner coin-operated laundry to giant and industrial and institutional laundries and textile service companies.

And hotels here are filling, as reported by Riddle: Approximately 60% of Clean ’19 peak night rooms have been reserved as of March 12, 2019. Housing information can be found on the Clean Show website.

The Clean Show is now in its 42nd year, having started in 1977. Its exhibitors, Riddle mentions, are manufacturers and providers of products, supplies, and services to the fabricare industry.
