AUSTIN, Texas — The Southwest Drycleaners Association (SDA) announces its speaker lineup for the 2018 Cleaners Showcase, to be held April 5-7, 2018, in Shreveport-Bossier, La.
“Esteemed speakers, vital education and leading industry-exhibiting companies are truly shaping up a ‘can’t miss’ 2018 Cleaners Showcase,” the SDA says.
“Keynote speaker Bruce Hamilton and his nationally-renowned No Bad Days presentation,” SDA continues, “will officially kick off the event at 8:30 a.m. inside the Shreveport Convention Center on Friday, April 5.”
Following the Keynote at 10 a.m., the “Route Pro” James Peuster will share coveted tips and tricks on hiring and retaining employees.
Rounding off this eventful and informative Friday at 1 p.m. in the live show floor education area, will be drycleaning veteran Kermit Engh. This 20-plus year member of Methods For Management, Inc., will share his extensive background creating, acquiring and merging businesses, in addition to his expertise in plant design and layout, SDA indicates.
On Sat., April 6, at 9 a.m., Kyle Nesbit, vice president of business development for MW Cleaners, will share his strengths in creativity, leadership, planning and organization, brand management, information technology strategy and marketing.
At 10 a.m. Jon Meijer, director of membership for the Drycleaning & Laundry Institute (DLI), shares his knowledge and experience. Meijer has become a popular industry speaker, has written numerous articles and bulletins for DLI.
