Bamberg Brothers Own Platinum Dry Cleaners

“We are excited to now be a part of its pedigree,” says Craig Bamberg, co-owner

NAPLES, Fla. — Platinum Dry Cleaners, a full-service dry clean and laundry operation with three retail locations, five delivery vehicles, a 12,000 sq. ft. processing facility, and 40 employees, is under the new ownership of Craig Bamberg and Christopher Bamberg, as of earlier this year, they note.

The brothers explain that, “Platinum’s 30 years of high quality, attention to detail, delicate washing and hand-finishing continues to be Southwest Florida’s first choice in detailed fabricare with its focus on everyday casual, select couture, forever preservation, and home textile care offerings,” they say.

“With our acquisition of Platinum we are excited to now be a part of its pedigree, maintaining its industry wide reputation for quality, and bringing the SW Florida market exceptional customer service,” says co-owner Craig Bamberg.

The company relates that it will now increase its already established retail locations with further direction on home delivery of all services with a strong emphasis on convenient, affordable, and time-saving wash & fold garment care.

“Since the January 2019 acquisition,” the brothers add, “executive management has invested in workflow improvement by increasing staffing by 10%; replacement of the vehicle fleet; retail remodel of Marco Island location; marketing and identity rebranding; launch of new website; and company uniforms; and with overall changes of corporate strategy.”

Chris Bamberg, they note, will focus on operations, production and sales with 15 years of industry experience.

Relocating to SW Florida in 1999, he founded Cache Dry Cleaners with locations in Naples and Marco Island, Fla., they indicate. He was then called upon to join as president for Deluxe Dry Cleaning in Jacksonville and St Augustine, Fla.

They further note that most recently he was president for Certified Restoration Dry Cleaning (CRDN) of NE Florida and Coastal Georgia. Also, he has held trade memberships with the South Eastern Fabricare Association (SEFA) and the Drycleaning & Laundry Institute (DLI).

Craig Bamberg will guide executive office operations, marketing and sales, they further point out.

A SW Florida resident for over 23 years, Craig is most recognizable from his tenure with ASG Software Solutions where he served as sr. director of community relations as well as sr. director of central operations for 18 years.

He will call on this experience with multinational M&A, budget/finance, logistics, marketing and public relations to bring Platinum to its next level, they relate.

Craig is associated with the Florida Public Relations Association, Naples Area Professional League of Executive Services, and many other organizations.

Platinum will celebrate 30 years in business later this year, they note.

Craig says: “I can’t wait to start our 30th anniversary celebrations! Our respect for the founding ownership of our company is well known. Both Joe and Sandy Waite seemed tickled that we were planning announcements and events.

Our branding, promotions, and introduction of commemorative logo will reflect the legacy of Platinum. It really is a SW Florida community cornerstone,” he adds.
