SAN FRANCISCO — America’s Best Cleaners (ABC) will host its semi-annual Affiliate Meeting Oct. 20-22 in Newark, N.J., featuring presentations and activities focused on today’s couture-level fashions and industry best practices, the independent certification organization says.
The meeting will also include a tour of the 20,000-plus-square-foot facilities of Rent the Runway, as well as a visit to the manufacturing facilities of Mel Gambert Custom Shirt Makers, according to ABC.
Among confirmed speakers for the event include Dave Kerpen, chairman of social media marketing agency Likeable Media. Kerpen will talk about the “growth and importance of social media for small businesses, and will introduce ‘Likeable Drycleaners,’ Likeable Media’s Facebook marketing solution for dry cleaners and vertical markets,” according to ABC.
In addition to Kerpen, the association’s professional team will lead interactive discussions on best practices for dry cleaners.
